■About SOTEN and TENSO
Policies on economic security and environmental considerations are accelerating in the global drone market. In the United States, the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) has prohibited government procurement of Russian and Chinese-made drones. Additionally, DJI, a Chinese drone manufacturer, has been designated as a “Chinese military-related company” by the U.S. Department of Defense since October 2022.
In this market environment, ACSL believes that it is possible to formulate a positioning based on the keywords “economic security”, “enterprise support”, and “application-specific”. In its entry into the U.S. market, SOTEN was highly evaluated by infrastructure companies at a local exhibition for its use in inspection and surveying, and ACSL have also received positive feedback and confirmed purchase requests at several customer road shows. Against this backdrop, ACSL established a U.S. subsidiary ACSL, Inc. in California in January 2023, and through close collaboration with these potential U.S. customers, ACSL has continued to improve SOTEN.

Smart controller TENSO
In this market environment, the movement to eliminate Chinese-made products is accelerating in the United States, and the importance of NDAA-compliant products is increasing. Developing and providing NDAA-compliant products has become a crucial factor in enhancing a company’s reliability and competitiveness. In response to these market needs and to gain high recognition in the U.S. market, ACSL, Inc. has announced the launch of its new NDAA-compliant smart controller, “TENSO”*2.
ACSL Group will continue to accelerate sales and market development in the U.S. market moving forward.
