Notice Concerning Distribution Agreement with Almo Corporation in the U.S. market and Large Project Orders
ACSL Ltd (“ACSL”) hereby announces that on October 30, 2024, ACSL, Inc., our U.S. subsidiary, it entered into a distribution agreement (“the agreement”) with Almo Corporation DBA Exertis Almo (“Exertis Almo”).
In addition, ACSL are pleased to announce that it has received an order for a large-scale project from Exertis Almo to deliver 500 units of our small aerial photography drone “SOTEN”.
■Reason and details of the agreement
Policies related to economic security and environmental considerations are accelerating in the global drone market. In the U.S., the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) prohibits government procurement of Russian and Chinese drones. In addition, DJI, Chinese drone manufacturer, has been designated by the U.S. Department of Defense as a “China Military Enterprise” from October 2022. In this market environment, ACSL believes that it is possible to formulate a positioning based on the keywords “economic security”, “enterprise support”, and “application-specific”.
Against this background, ACSL established a U.S. subsidiary, ACSL, Inc. in California in January 2023 to meet the growing demand for secure, versatile, and high-performance small aerial drones, and in December, ACSL, Inc. delivered 50 units of SOTEN to General Pacific, Inc. strategic distributor. Furthermore, in January 2024, the Company announced the price and distributor for SOTEN and began full-scale sales in the U.S.
Exertis Almo is a subsidiary of DCC plc., a company that is a constituent of the FTSE 100, and a distributor of pro AV equipment and appliances in the U.S. The company sells drones and provides training programs and support services through a supply chain established throughout the U.S.
ACSL Group will continue to further accelerate its sales and market development in the U.S. market through the agreement with Exertis Almo.
