Background

The need for secure drones for equipment inspections is growing in the U.S. in response to the clear trend toward economic security and non-China products. In 2023, AUVSI (Association for Unmanned Vehicle Systems International), the organizer of XPONENTIAL, launched the Green UAS program^*1 as a new security certification in the U.S. The program is designed to evaluate and verify that commercial drones meet the highest levels of cybersecurity and NDAA^*2 supply chain requirements.

ACSL’s achievements at the exhibition and future goals

ACSL’s small aerial photography drone, SOTEN, was exhibited and attracted attention especially in the following three points, confirming the high interest and expectations of equipment inspection companies in the U.S.

The huge market^*4 for equipment inspection drones in the U.S. is a very attractive, and ACSL, as a Japanese drone developing and manufacturing company, will steadily achieve results in the U.S. market by developing customer-first products and continuing to provide products that meet the needs of inspection sites.

XPONENTIAL is one of the world’s largest trade shows organized by AUVSI, the world’s largest association in the field of advanced autonomous systems and robotics, based near Washington, D.C., USA. It focuses on unmanned and autonomous systems technology, which will be more in demand in the future in all areas of land, sea, and air, and provides networking opportunities with leaders in each field. Approx. 8,500 visitors and more than 700 exhibitors attended XPONENTIAL 2024.
