ACSL exhibits at the “XPONENTIAL 2024” in San Diego, California

  • ACSL and ACSL, Inc. (US subsidiary), exhibited SOTEN at XPONENTIAL 2024 held in the US on April 22-25, 2024, and received high interest from local equipment inspection companies.
  • There is a strong need for secure drones in the U.S., with a clear trend toward economic security and non-China products. ACSL recognizes the potential of the U.S. market and will steadily develop SOTEN’s U.S. presence.

ACSL Ltd. (Head Office: Edogawa-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Satoshi Washiya; hereinafter “ACSL”) and its U.S. subsidiary ACSL, Inc. announce that exhibited at XPONENTIAL 2024, held in April 2024 in San Diego, California, USA.

Background

The need for secure drones for equipment inspections is growing in the U.S. in response to the clear trend toward economic security and non-China products. In 2023, AUVSI (Association for Unmanned Vehicle Systems International), the organizer of XPONENTIAL, launched the Green UAS program*1 as a new security certification in the U.S. The program is designed to evaluate and verify that commercial drones meet the highest levels of cybersecurity and NDAA*2 supply chain requirements.

ACSL’s achievements at the exhibition and future goals

ACSL’s small aerial photography drone, SOTEN, was exhibited and attracted attention especially in the following three points, confirming the high interest and expectations of equipment inspection companies in the U.S.
・Conforms to NDAA compliance
・Reasonable pricing
・Open software development kit (SDK*3) will soon be available
The huge market*4 for equipment inspection drones in the U.S. is a very attractive, and ACSL, as a Japanese drone developing and manufacturing company, will steadily achieve results in the U.S. market by developing customer-first products and continuing to provide products that meet the needs of inspection sites.

XPONENTIAL*5

XPONENTIAL is one of the world’s largest trade shows organized by AUVSI, the world’s largest association in the field of advanced autonomous systems and robotics, based near Washington, D.C., USA. It focuses on unmanned and autonomous systems technology, which will be more in demand in the future in all areas of land, sea, and air, and provides networking opportunities with leaders in each field. Approx. 8,500 visitors and more than 700 exhibitors attended XPONENTIAL 2024.
