The needs for drones are expanding in the
government and public sectors, including surveys of disaster damage, inspections of aging
infrastructure, surveillance, and search.
The "Technical Base Development for Secure and Reliable
Drones" project aims to strengthen the competitiveness of Japan's drone industry by designing and
developing standard drones that ensure safety and reliability to meet these needs, and by supporting
efforts to improve the performance of key components and mass produce drone airframes. The goal is to
strengthen the competitiveness of Japan's drone industry and to foster a related business ecosystem.
Technical Base Development for Secure and Reliable Drones
(1) Design and development of standard
drone airframes and standard flight controller infrastructure for government procurement
We
will establish a standard development platform for the development of a standard airframe and flight
controller through agile development that catches up with the needs of government-related
organizations in a timely manner.
- 1. Design and development of a standard airframe for small, easy-to-use dronesv

standard airframe to achieve higher performance functions, and build a system for safe and secure mass
